An effective regional approach to combat corruption and enhance accountability through better coordination of anti-corruption efforts in the region, both by Civil Society and state agencies, information management and dissemination.
Regional Governance
Civil society and other stakeholders are mobilized to put regional governance at the centre of the political debate within the framework of the SADC We Want (SWW) campaign.
Democratic Governance
Civil Society at national level are supported and complemented by SAf-CNGO to monitor and assess electoral processes in their respective countries and provide an independent and objective assessments and recommendations to sustainably engage with state institutions with the purpose of advancing democratization.
International Solidarity and Continental Engagement
Lend support and amplify the struggle of people in the continent and beyond. For this and other policy purposes SAf-CNGO will facilitate the creation of a continental council of NGOs with a sole purpose of claiming and effectively make use of the policy space at African Union level by African civil society.
